The honest verdict
To be fair: for providers who need Australian government reporting (CRICOS/PRISMS), eBECAS is built for exactly that, and Fidelo is not. Outside that requirement the picture turns: European hosting choice, GDPR posture, six languages, an agency product — and every price published with a calculator instead of a partial price list.

Is Fidelo a real alternative to eBECAS?
For European schools and for schools without Australian reporting duties: yes — the functional scope (bookings, host families, agents, invoicing) matches, with EU hosting choice and six languages on top. If you must file CRICOS/PRISMS reports, eBECAS remains the specialist for that.
Can you migrate our data out of eBECAS?
We import from practically any system that can export its data (CSV, Excel, SQL). Before you commit, we run a test import of your enquiries, bookings, invoices, payments and contacts — you review your own school in Fidelo before go-live.
What does Fidelo cost?
Every price is public: from €20 per administrative user per month, across four packages and six volume tiers. Students, teachers and agents are free and unlimited. The pricing page has full tables and an interactive calculator — no quote required.
How does switching work?
In three steps: test import of your data, your review, then go-live — the timeline depends on your data volume, not on a sales process. You see your real records in Fidelo before you decide.
We are on eBECAS Classic — shouldn’t we just switch to eBECAS Next Generation?
You can — but staying is a migration too: per the vendor’s own roadmap, roles and permissions are incompatible between the versions and must be rebuilt, templates have to be moved to the new template engine, and not all Classic modules are available in the NextGen rollout from the start (per the eBECAS roadmap documentation, as of 08/2026). If you are rebuilding roles, templates and processes anyway, it is the right moment to re-evaluate the vendor as well — with a test import of your data into Fidelo.
